I met with the members of the Circle of Friends group at the Women’s centre in Moyross, for our first session. I sat in on a reading of their play, written with Monica Spencer, which examines the situation of women in Ireland since the election of CM in 1918. I had made a sheet containing the text of the Amendment 41.2, along with some line drawings of women from or associated with Limerick who have been involved in caring for the common good. We discussed possibilities around this.
