I met with artist Mary Conroy to discuss the idea that an 'urban garden for Limerick' case study might work well for the workshop with Torange Khonsari. Mary was involved with the Biodiversity Garden on Thomas St. I learned in this conversation that the Biodiversity Garden is actually on private land. It was funded as part of City of Culture 2014 but it was not sustainable. That's a key question for Mary, can it be sustained?
